Remotely set the access mode for a door from Video view

On Alta Video deployments that include access control integrations, your operators can configure the access mode for individual doors from the Alta VideoVideo view.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have added your access control points to Video view. See Add access control points to Video view and Add access control points to Map view.

Task — Remotely configure the door access mode

1. From Video view, locate the access control point of interest.

   If the menu is not visible, click Show menu.

2. Expand the Access control points section of the menu.
3. From the left-hand pane, right-click the access control point of interest, and select Change access mode.
   The Set access mode dialog is displayed.
4. From Access mode, select the required access mode. The options are:
   • Default provider state: Normal
   • Force Unlocked Override
   • Force Locked Override
5. Click Done.
