Remotely unlock a door from Video view or Map view

On Alta Video deployments that include access control integrations, once you have added your access control points to Video view and Map view, your operators can remotely unlock a door shown on either view.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have added your access control points to Video view and Map view. See Add access control points to Video view and Add access control points to Map view.

Task — Remotely unlock a door

1. From Video view or Map view, locate the access control point to unlock.

   In Map view, hover your mouse pointer over the access control point of interest.

2. From the access control point overlay, click the padlock icon.
   The relevant door is unlocked for a short period of time.
