Avigilon Alta integrations

One of the key differentiators between the Alta video security systems and other video management systems is that with Alta Video cloud you can easily integrate Alta Video with the other systems that you rely on.

Integrate Alta Video cloud with building access control systems, either by using developing integrations specifically for the third-party system, or, depending on your chosen access control vendor, by using the integrations built into Alta Video cloud.

By integrating sensors with your Alta Video cloud deployment, in addition to the visual awareness provided by the cameras, you can also gather environmental information, such as the temperature, relative humidity, whether someone is smoking or vaping on your premises, and other parameters.

Alta Video supports two types of integrations:

• Existing, in-built integrations — for these integrations, Avigilon Alta engineers have worked with third-party providers to add the integration directly into Alta Video cloud. This enables you to quickly configure the integration, for example, between the Alta Video cloud deployment and popular access control systems or with popular sensors, without having to create applications or proxies using the Alta Video cloud and third-party APIs.
• External integrations - customers and partners can develop additional integrations for their chosen third-party systems using the flexible APIs available in Alta Video cloud.
