Alta Video —1891: Potential out of order responses when CLIENT SETINFO times out during connection establishment in redis/go-redis

Overview
A vulnerability was discovered in github.com/redis/go-redis that could lead to out-of-order responses. The issue occurred when the CLIENT SETINFO command timed out during connection establishment. This timeout could be triggered by client configuration, network issues, or aggressive timeouts.
Affected Products
- Alta Video:
- All Stable upgrade channel versions before 8.1.5.
- All Beta upgrade channel versions before 8.1.0.
Unaffected Products
Alta Video:
- All Stable upgrade channel versions after and including 8.1.5.
- All Beta upgrade channel versions after and including 8.1.0.
Avigilon Cloud-Native Cameras: all versions.
Alta Video Cloud: all versions.
Resolution
This issue has been fixed in Alta Video Beta upgrade channel version 8.1.0 and Stable upgrade channel version 8.1.5.
It is recommended that all installations running an affected version are upgraded to the latest release as soon as possible. Releases are available to download through the Alta Video User Interface.
