Alta Video — 2123: Vulnerability in pion/dtls risked leaking the authentication key

Overview
A vulnerability was discovered in the pion/dtls Go package, relating to the use of random nonce generation with AES GCM ciphers.
This vulnerability makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain the authentication key.
By leveraging the reuse of a nonce in a session, attackers can spoof data via a "forbidden attack".

Resolution
This issue has been fixed in Alta Video Beta upgrade channel version 8.1.3 and Stable upgrade channel version 8.1.5.
It is strongly recommended that all installations running an affected version are upgraded to the latest release as soon as possible. Releases are available to download through the Alta Video User Interface.
This issue has been fixed in Avigilon Cloud-Native Cameras Beta upgrade channel version 8.1.3 and Stable upgrade channel version 8.1.5.
It is strongly recommended that all Avigilon Cloud-Native camera installations running an affected version upgrade to the latest release as soon as possible. Releases are available to download through the Alta Video User Interface for Avigilon Cloud-Native cameras and the Avigilon Cloud-Native Camera Interface for unmanaged cameras.
