Alta-Aware-765 CSRF risk due to insufficient Origin header validation and CORS misconfiguration

Overview
Due to insufficient Origin header validation and CORS misconfiguration, a CSRF attack was possible.
Affected Products
- Ava Cameras:
- All Stable upgrade Channel versions before 5.7.9.
- All Beta upgrade channel versions before 5.7.3.
- Ava Cloud: before 10th March 2023.
Unaffected Products
- Ava Aware: all versions.
- Ava Cameras:
- All Stable upgrade channel versions after and including 5.7.9.
- All Beta upgrade channel versions after and including 5.7.3.
- Ava Cloud: from 10th March 2023.
Resolution
A fix was deployed to the Ava Cloud on 10th March 2023. Ava Cloud customers do not need to take any additional action.
This issue has been fixed in Ava Camera Beta upgrade channel version 5.7.3 and Stable upgrade channel version 5.7.9.
It is highly recommended that all Ava Camera installations running an affected version upgrade to the latest release as soon as possible. Releases are available to download through the Ava Aware User Interface for Ava managed cameras and the Ava Camera User Interface for unmanaged Ava cameras.
