Alta Aware — 1146: Audio permission not enforced for external link

Overview

It was still possible to hear audio on external link bookmarks when the "include audio" option was unchecked.

Affected Products

• Ava Aware:
  • All Stable upgrade channel versions before 6.7.6.
  • All Beta upgrade channel versions before 6.7.5.

Unaffected Products

• Ava Aware:

  • All Stable upgrade channel versions after and including 6.7.6.
  • All Beta upgrade channel versions after and including 6.7.5.

• Ava Cameras: all versions.

• Ava Cloud: all versions.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in Alta Video Beta upgrade channel version 6.7.5 and Stable upgrade channel version 6.7.6.

It is *strongly recommended* that all installations running an affected version are upgraded to the latest release as soon as possible. Releases are available to download through the Alta Aware user interface.
