Capture and download HTTP Archive (.har) files
Last modified: Tuesday November 15, 2022.
When troubleshooting issues where the Alta Video user interface does not seem to work as expected, it can be useful for the Avigilon Alta Support and Engineering teams if you provide an HTTP Archive file (.har file). HTTP Archive files contain details of the HTTP calls made by Alta Video in your browser, and the responses that are returned from your Alta Video video management system.
Because HTTP Archive files (.har files) capture all HTTP traffic from your browser, it is possible that personally identifiable information (PII) is also captured.
Follow the process in Obfuscate sensitive personal information in a .har file to remove any personal information before submitting the file to Avigilon Alta Support.
