Log into Alta Video using 2FA

If mandated by your Alta Video administrators, or if you have configured your own account to require two factor authentication, use this task to log into Alta Video.

Task — Log into Alta Video

1. From a compatible browser (Chrome or Microsoft Edge) browse to your Alta Video deployment.
2. Choose your preferred language from the drop-down menu. For more information, see Language preferences in Alta Video.
3. Type your user name in the Email field.
4. Type your password in the Password field.
5. Click Sign in.
   The two factor authentication (2FA) dialog is displayed.
6. From your Google authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator app, note the authentication code for your Alta Video deployment.

   Each authentication code has a usable life of around 30 seconds. If the life indicator is close to expiring, wait for a new code to be generated.

7. Type the authentication code in the Enter code field.
8. Click Confirm.
   Your credentials and the authentication code are checked by Alta Video, and if successful, the main Dashboard is displayed.
