View Alta Video system notifications and alarms

Alta Video displays system notifications and alarms in the user interface.

Examples of the system notifications that might be displayed include:

• Alta Video starting
• Alta Video shutting down
• Alta Video restarting
• Alta Video upgrade starting
• Alta Video upgrade was canceled

Examples of the Alarms that might be displayed include:

• Notification that an alarm has been triggered
  Alarms are responses to triggered rules.
• Notification that an event has occurred
  Events are responses to unusual behaviors detected by the Alta Video machine learning algorithms.

Task

1. Log in to Alta Video.
2. Click the .Notifications icon.

   If there are new, unread notifications, the icon changes to show .

All System notifications, Alarms, and Events are shown, grouped by category.
