Manually rotate the credentials for your Ava cameras

Last modified: Wednesday September 28, 2022.

You may need to rotate your credentials if they have been shared widely, or to meet your organizational policies on passwords.

You can instruct Alta Video cloud to rotate the credentials for each of your Avigilon Ava cloud-native cameras and your Avigilon Ava cameras connected to your Alta Cloud Connectors.

Manage the camera credentials that Alta Video uses to communicate with your Avigilon Ava cameras.

For Avigilon Ava cloud-native cameras, you can request that Alta Video generates new credentials.

For Avigilon Ava cameras connected to an Alta Cloud Connector, you can choose to request new Alta Video-generated credentials or you can define the credentials yourself.
