Set the Ava cameras network settings from Alta Video

Use the Connection tools to configure and test how your Avigilon Ava cameras interact with your network.

Task — Configure Ava cameras network settings

  1. From the toolbar, open new tool button > devices tool buttonDevices.
  2. Select the Avigilon Ava camera of interest.
  3. Click Edit settings.
  4. Select Connection.
    From this pane, you can:
    • View credentials for the selected camera.
    • Change camera credentials for the camera.
    • View the current network settings for the camera.
    • Manage network settings for the camera.
    • Enable or disable SSH (Secure Shell) access to the camera.
    • Configure the network Type (speed) and Status (actual speed) for the camera.
    • Run a Connectivity test from the camera.
  5. Click Done to save your changes.
