Work with panoramic cameras

Define a camera as a panoramic device in Alta Video. Additionally, if the camera is wall-mounted, specify this so that the appropriate views can be displayed in Alta Video.

Task — Define the camera as Panoramic

  1. From the toolbar, open new tool button > devices tool buttonDevices.
  2. Select the camera of interest.

    Use Search for devices button search to find the camera in large lists of devices.

  3. From Settings, click Edit settings.
  4. Select General.
  5. From Type of Camera, select Panoramic.
  6. From Camera mounting, select the relevant mounting orientation - either Ceiling, or Wall.
