Pause a rule

There might be situations where you do not want notifications from a rule for a period of time. For example, if there is building work being carried out in a usually quiet area. You can temporarily pause a rule to prevent notifications.

  • From the toolbar, open new tool button > rules tool button Rules.

    • Task — Pause the rule

    1. From the toolbar, open new tool button > rules tool button Rules.
    2. Click Edit Edit adjacent to the rule to pause.
    3. From the Set a schedule drop-down, select Temporarily inactive.
    4. Configure the From and To dates and times for the rule to be inactive.
    5. Click Done.
    6. Click Done.

    During the configured date and time range, the selected rule is paused. The rule automatically reactivates when the date and time range expires.
