View or download Alta Video audit logs

Last modified: Wednesday February 19, 2025.

To view information about changes made to your Alta Video deployment, the live video clips, playback video, or recorded video viewed by your users, check the audit logs. You can also download the log files for further analysis.

Aware captures all user logins to the deployment, whether that is directly, or via the Avigilon Alta Deployment Management Portal (DMP).

However, only explicit logouts are recorded in the audit logs — if a user simply closes the browser window used to connect to Alta Video, this is not recorded.

Configuration logs are limited to the last 90 days of data, or 100,000 entries.

Viewer logs are limited to the last 90 days of data, or 1,000,000 entries.
