View or download Alta Video audit logs

To view information about changes made to your Alta Video deployment, the live video clips, playback video, or recorded video viewed by your users, check the audit logs. You can also download the log files for further analysis.
Aware captures all user logins to the deployment, whether that is directly, or via the Avigilon Alta Deployment Management Portal (DMP).
However, only explicit logouts are recorded in the audit logs — if a user simply closes the browser window used to connect to Alta Video, this is not recorded.
View audit logs
- Open the
System tool. - From
Deployment , select.
- Select
Audit logs . - Click
View logs . - Use the tabs to view the
Configuration logs orViewer logs . - Use
Search to search for particular words, for example, the name of a rule, or a change to the time-ranges, that appear in the audit log.
- To view audit logs from a specific time frame, use the
From andTo time fields. - Click a log entry to the entry see more details.
Download audit logs
You can download audit logs in JSON format.
- Open the
System tool. - From
Deployment , select.
- Select
Audit logs . - Click
Download logs for eitherCONFIGURATION LOGS orVIEWER LOGS . - Enter the required time frame or select
All . - Click
Download . - Click
Done .
Delete audit logs
- Open the
System tool. - From
Deployment , select.
- Select
Audit logs . - Click
Delete logs inCONFIGURATION LOGS orVIEWER LOGS as required. - Enter the required time frame.
- Click
Delete . - Click
Done .
