Manage active Alta Video sessions

You can view the number of current active users logged into your Alta Video deployment.

You can also end individual user sessions, or end all sessions for a user.

Task — Open the Users tool

  1. Choose Tools Tools > Users tool Users.

Task — Check who is logged into your deployment

  1. Click the Active sessions button.
    The Session management dialog is shown, with all currently active users displayed.

    Users might be shown multiple times in the table, if, for example, they are logged into the Alta Video deployment from a desktop computer, and also from a mobile device using the Alta Video mobile app.

    The IP addresses might be repeated for some users. For example, if you have several Alta Video users that have the Alta Video mobile apps installed on their mobile devices, they might all show the same IP address , as this is the external IP address seen by Alta Video Cloud.

Task — End a user session

  1. Select the user to be logged out of your Alta Video deployment.
  2. Click the three dots icon in Action.
  3. Select either:
    • End this session — to end only the selected session.
    • End all sessions for this user — to completely log out the selected user from your deployment
  4. Click Done.
