Enable additional information in Video view

When watching the Video view, especially in low-light situations, it can be difficult to see what is causing the Avigilon Alta analytics to detect an event. Enabling bounding boxes on the Video view enables the system to 'highlight' the anomaly that is detected.
Video view includes to options for you to enable bounding boxes for people, and also for vehicle detections.
Bounding boxes for people are shown in aqua. Vehicle bounding boxes are purple.
Task — Enable your preferred additional information
- Choose
Tools > Video view . - Select the
Layers . - Choose the additional information to be displayed on your Video view:

Show live timeline layer — view the timeline layer for each camera. -
Show vehicle bounding boxes — view bounding boxes around detected vehicles. -
Show people bounding boxes — view bounding boxes around detected people. -
Show object count — view the number of people or vehicles currently in each camera view. Show access control information — view your access control points.

- If enabled for your deployment, you can view additional information for the following licensed features:

Show cloud storage — view when your video information has been backed up to Alta Cloud Storage. This is shown as dark blue markings in the timeline. -
Show license plates — view the detected license plates for vehicles that intersect with your configured License plate detection zones. -
Show sound equalizer — view the control to enable you to listen to audio from your Avigilon Ava cloud-native cameras. -
Show audio levels — view an indication of the sound levels in the timeline. -
Show POS events — view the content of the point-of-sale messages, for example, the time stamp, the item type and the cost. -
Enable sensor info — view sensor measurements.- To view live sensor readings, drag a sensor into a video pane and

Your selected additional information is displayed in the Video view.
Bounding boxes depend on the Avigilon Alta analytics running on each camera; if there are stream issues from a camera that prevent analytics running successfully, or if you have configured analytics or privacy masks to a camera, then no bounding boxes are shown for that camera view.
