Third-party integrations

Integration with third-party systems or devices, such as access control or sensors, adds functionality and flexibility to your Protect system.

However, each integration adds a point of failure beyond our control and could reduce the reliability of your deployment.

• Before live operation, you must test all external integrations, especially if they connect to remote monitoring services.
• Configure and monitor any warning messages from your third-party systems and devices. Ideally, link them using the API and send alerts from within your Protect deployment.
• Alta Protect shares the same API and integration mechanisms as Alta Video. See Avigilon Alta integrations and the Alta Video API reference.
