Alta Protect monitoring service licensing

Alta Protect and the Alta Protect monitoring service require separate licenses.

• Alta Protect licenses control the number of zones and cameras permitted per site.
• Alta Protect monitoring service licenses control the number of verification events per site.
• Licenses are available in various durations.
• Expansion licenses can be added to increase the number of zones and cameras permitted or add additional verification events.
• Multiple expansion licenses can be added to a site.

Monitor your usage

You must monitor your Alta Protect monitoring service license usage:

• Optimize the setup if your system generates a high volume of false alarms.
• Add additional licensing if the site experiences a large number of valid alarms.

Exceeding your license limits

We also review your usage. If you exceed your event or dispatch limits, the service continues to work for a grace period of two months.
