Add triggers to a zone

Add cameras, sensors and access control points to monitor your zone and trigger alarms.

  1. To edit existing settings, open the Alarm zones tool, right-click the required zone, and select Edit.

  2. Click TRIGGERS and use the Cameras, Sensors, and A.C. points tabs to find and assign the required devices.
  3. You can toggle between list view button list view and map view button map view to find devices.
  4. To assign devices from a map, click map view button.
    1. To change maps, open map view button Maps.
    2. Click and drag to select or deselect the required devices.
  5. If required, you can change the device detection types that trigger an alarm in this zone, for example, proximity, motion, sound, and tampering.
    1. To select the default detections, select the required device tab and click All detections default device detection settings button.
    2. To override the default detections, open the device detection settings button settings for the required device. Open the What tab and select the detection types that trigger an alarm.
    3. Each device must have at least one detection type.
  6. For cameras, you can configure areas of interest or crossable lines that trigger detections.
    1. Open the Cameras tab and selected the required device.
    2. Open the device device detection settings button settings.
    3. Open the Where tab.
    4. Select define area of interest button Area of interest and click and drag to draw rectangular areas of interest in the camera view.
    5. Select define area of interest button Line crossing and click and drag to draw a line in the camera view. Click and set line crossing direction  to button blue arrows to configure the direction of movement the line detects.
    6. Click Done.
