Receive notifications and remotely view video and alarms from your Ava Aware deployments on your iOS mobile device.

To receive notifications on your iOS mobile device, you must ensure your Ava Aware deployment has Remote access enabled.

With the Ava Aware mobile app, you are no longer tied to your desk for these tasks. Securely receive notifications about alarms and anomalies on your cellular device and view the accompanying video for these events.

You can also view the video feeds from any cameras connected to your Ava Aware deployments.

Getting started with the app

To use the Ava Aware mobile app for Apple devices, you must already have a user profile set up for the Ava Aware deployments you want to monitor, with at least the following permissions:

  • View live video
  • View historic video
  • View devices in video view
  • View alarms

To test, and to start using the Ava Aware mobile app for iOS devices:

  1. From your Apple iOS device, navigate to the App Store and search for Ava Aware.
  2. Install the App.
  3. Connect to your Ava Aware deployment: enter your server name (for example, aware-test-server) in the Deployment name field.
  4. Tap NEXT.
  5. Enter your Ava Aware Username and Password.
  6. Tap SIGN IN.
