With the Avigilon Alta Alta Video mobile app, you are no longer tied to your desk for these tasks. Securely receive notifications about alarms and anomalies on your cellular device and view the accompanying video for these events.
You can also view the video feeds from any cameras connected to your Alta Video deployments.

Getting started with the app
(back to top)To use the Avigilon Alta Alta Video mobile app for Android devices, you must already have a user profile set up for the Alta Video deployments you want to monitor with, as a minimum the following permissions:
- View live video
- View historic video
- View devices in video view
- View alarms
To install and use the Avigilon Alta Alta Video mobile app for Android devices:
- Install the Avigilon Alta Alta Video mobile app on your Android device, using the usual Play Store work-flows.
- Connect to your Alta Video deployment: enter your server name (for example, Aware-test-server) in the
Deployment name field. - Tap
NEXT . - Enter your Alta Video
Username andPassword . - Tap
SIGN IN .
Resolved issues
These issues have been resolved:

| 5276 | An issue where the thumbnails from the wrong source were displayed when viewing the feed from multi-source cameras has been resolved. |

Known issues

| 5264 | Issue: Occasionally, when there are multiple notifications, clicking on the older notifications results in a spinner being displayed on the login screen. |
| 5210, 5280 | Issue: Depending on the logged in user, their roles and assigned permissions, and the configuration of the rules, you might not receive notifications on your mobile devices. |
| 4876 | Issue: When using the app to view multiple Alta Video deployments, you might experience intermittent issues when signing into and out of each deployments. Workaround: After signing out of one deployment, close the app, then reopen the app and sign into the next deployment. |
| 4815 | Issue: Occasionally, when attempting the minimize the device group, it is unsuccessful. |
| 4630, 4879 | Issue: Several issues have been seen when viewing the app on a OnePlus 7 Pro device. |
