With the Alta Video mobile app, you are no longer tied to your desk for these tasks. Securely receive notifications about alarms and anomalies on your cellular device and view the accompanying video for these events.
You can also view the video feeds from any cameras connected to your Alta Video deployments.

Getting started with the app
(back to top)To use the Alta Video mobile app for Apple devices, you must already have a user profile set up for the Alta Video deployments you want to monitor, with at least the following permissions:
- View live video
- View historic video
- View devices in video view
- View alarms
To test, and to start using the Alta Video mobile app for iOS devices:
- Contact your Ava sales or support representative and request to be added to the beta trial for Alta Video mobile app for iOS devices.
You will be sent a link to TestFlight to enable you to start using the Alta Video mobile app. - Follow the instructions in the opt-in link that you receive from your Ava representative, to install the beta version of the Alta Video mobile app for iOS devices.
- Connect to your Alta Video deployment: enter your server name (for example, aware-test-server) in the
Deployment name field. - Tap
NEXT . - Enter your Alta Video
Username andPassword . - Tap
SIGN IN .
Known issues
(back to top)During testing, we have found the following issues in the release.

5248 | Issue: When you acknowledge an alarm, it does not get updated immediately. Workaround: To watch the alarm, you have to navigate back to view it. |
5210, 5280 | Issue: Depending on the logged in user, their roles and assigned permissions, and the configuration of the rules, you might not receive notifications on your mobile devices. |
4852 | Issue: If you view an alarm or anomaly for one deployment, and then switch to another deployment, the new deployment shows 0 devices. Workaround: Close the app, restart it and then log into the new deployment. |
