View sensor information in Map view

When you have added your sensors to Maps, enable the sensor data info to view the current parameters from your sensors.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have added your sensors to Maps. See .

Task — Enable the sensor data layer

  1. From the toolbar, open new tool button > Map view Maps.
  2. Enable Maps: Edit mode
  3. Select Info layers button Info layers.
  4. Click Sensor data button Sensor data.

    The default units of measurement for sensor data can be set for the deployment and a user can set their own preferred units. See Default measurement units and Alta Video user settings.

    Alta Video displays the current values sent to it from any sensors. You cannot use Maps to view historic sensor values.
