Alta Video Face search

A common use-case when using a video surveillance system is to look for people seen in one camera view, in other camera views. In this way, you can build up an understanding of where the person entered and left your protected areas, and the route that they took through those areas.
Alta Video Face search enables you to upload an image, including the face, of a person of interest, and then use the Alta Video Similarity search to look for matches for that person across all your selected cameras.
In some jurisdictions, the use of facial detection technologies might be restricted or banned.
Ensure you enter accurate location information in Alta Video so that any use of this feature complies with your local legislation. See Create Sites for information about configuring the location for each site.
