Allow RTSP traffic for your non-cloud Alta Video deployment

On your on-premise Alta Video deployment, you must allow RTSP traffic by configuring the Alta Video firewall for the network interface to be used.

Task — Open the Appliances tool

1. Log in to your Alta Video video management system as an Administrator.
2. Click New tool from the tool ribbon, then select Appliances.

   If the Appliances tab is already open, click the tab to view the page.

Task — Allow RTSP traffic through the firewall

1. From the toolbar, open > System.
2. Click the appliance Name.
3. Expand Network.
4. From Interfaces, select the interface to modify.
5. Click .
6. Scroll to Incoming Firewall.
7. Enable the required RTSP and/or RTSPS communications from Incoming Firewall.
8. Click Done.
