View the licenses being used by Alta Video

Alta Video deployments use licensing to control and manage your connected devices.
Task — View in-use licenses
- Log in to your Alta Video deployment as an Administrator.
- Click
New tool from the tool ribbon, then selectSystem .The System page opens.If System is already open, click the tab to view the page.
- From
Deployment , select . - Select
Licenses .
The quantities and types of currently in-use licenses are shown. - Click
Done to close theDeployment settings dialog.
License | Notes |
---|---|
Camera licenses | One license required per singe source camera, or per multisource camera or encoder with up to four sources. For cameras or encoders with more than four sources, an additional license is required for each additional multiple of four sources. Each camera license includes 30 days of Alta Cloud Storage. |
LPR licenses | One license required for each LPR stream in your deployment. |
Alta Cloud Storage | One Alta Cloud Storage license is required for each additional 30 days of video storage per camera/encoder source.

Alta Storage Connect | One Alta Storage Connect license is required for each camera source being backed up to your own S3-compatible storage. |
Access Control | One access control license is required per deployment for Access Control integration.
It is the Access Control integration that is licensed, not the number of Access Control Points (ACPs) attached to that Access Control system. |
Halo sensors | One license is required for each Halo sensor connected to your deployment. |
Disruptive Technologies or generic sensors | For Disruptive Technologies (DT) sensors, one license is required for each sensor. For generic sensors, one license is required for each sensor channel. |
Audio recording licenses | To enable audio recording in your deployment, you require the Audio recording license. One license is required per deployment. |
