Default and preset PTZ camera positions
Last modified: Wednesday March 04, 2026.
For a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera, you can save preset positions for the camera to move to. You can use preset positions as steps in a camera tour or as a default position after a user finishes moving the camera.
Support for presets varies based on the camera model and mounting orientation.
PTZ presets configured using physical movements and zoom are available to all users. Presets that include digital zoom are usable only by the user that creates them.
