Manage DMP users

In Alta DMP, all users belong to an organization. Each DMP user is assigned a role that determines their user permissions. You can assign users to groups, and end customers can choose which groups can access their deployments.

A user must have the Partner Super Admin role to create or edit user profiles.

Add a new user to an organization

  1. Go to dmp.alta.avigilon.com and log in.
  2. Open the main menu menu button and select Users.
  3. Click Add deployment button.
  4. Enter an email and password.
  5. If your organization has sub-organizations, choose an organization for the user.
  6. Select the user groups to which the user belongs. A user may belong to multiple user groups. For more information, see Manage DMP user groups.
  7. Select a role for the user. For more information, see DMP user roles.
  8. Choose Add.

Edit a DMP user profile

  1. Go to dmp.alta.avigilon.com and log in.
  2. Open the main menu menu button and select Users.
  3. Select the required user and choose User settings.
  4. Update their name, Organization, DMP role, or User groups as required.
  5. To change their password, click Change password.
  6. If your organization uses SSO, you can add a new login provider:
    1. Click Add deployment button. Select the provider from the dropdown and enter an email address.
    2. To delete an existing login, select it and click delete button.
  7. To delete the user, click Delete user.

Delete a user from an organization

  1. Go to dmp.alta.avigilon.com and log in.
  2. Open the main menu menu button and select Users.
  3. Select the user and click delete button.
