Add an emergency contact to a zone

If you use the Alta Protect monitoring service, you must assign one user as an emergency contact for each alarm zone. The user must be in the same locality as the site containing the zone.

  1. Open the Zones tool.
  2. Select the required zone and click Edit zone
  3. Click inside ALARM ACTIONS.
  4. Click manage permits button Emergency contacts.
  5. Select the required user.
    1. If you use the Alta Protect monitoring service, the user must have an address and phone number in a supported country.
    2. If required, add a phone number or edit the user's details in the Users tool, see Manage Protect users.
    3. For more information about supported countries, speak to your Avigilon Alta Partner or Sales representative.
  6. Choose Done.
