Add an emergency contact to a zone

If you use the Alta Protect monitoring service, you must assign one user as an emergency contact for each alarm zone. The user must be in the same locality as the site containing the zone.
- Open the Zones tool.
- Select the required zone and click
- Click inside Alarm.
- Click
Emergency contacts.
- Select the required users.
- If required, add a phone number or edit the user's details in the
Users tool, see Manage Protect users.- You must have a role with permission to edit users. See Create and edit Roles.
- If you use the Alta Protect monitoring service, the user must have an address and phone number in a supported country.
- For more information about supported countries, speak to your Avigilon Alta Partner or Sales representative.
- Drag and reorder contacts to set the contact order by the remote monitoring service (if enabled).

- If required, add a phone number or edit the user's details in the
- Choose Done.
