Manage Protect users

Manage your Alta Protect users in the Users tool. Role-based access allows you to control the device and system permissions available to each user.

Permissions

When you create a role, you can define specific Protect permissions, for example, which users can arm and disarm zones. See Assign Protect device permissions to users.

You can limit user access to specific zones. See Control user access to alarm zones.

Emergency contacts

You must assign at least one user as an emergency contact.

• The user must be have an address and phone number in the same geographical area as the site.
• See Add an emergency contact to a zone.

User credentials for Arming Station Pro

If your Alta Protect deployment uses any Arming Station Pro devices, you can create zone PINs for your users or if your deployment is unified with an Alta Access integration, you can use Alta Access credentials.
