For Avigilon Alta integrations with OnGuard Version 8.3, Alta Video communicates directly with your OnGuard access control system.

OnGuard integrations

As an OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP) partner, Avigilon Alta includes the tools you need to directly connect Alta Video with your OnGuard access control system.

Typical direct integration between Alta Video and your OnGuard access control system

Alta Video software versions from 3.2 onwards, when running on Alta Cloud Connectors (all models), provides direct integration with OnGuard version 8.3.

Overview of the OnGuard and Alta Video integration process

Follow the top-level steps to integrate your OnGuard version 8.3 system with Alta Video:

1. Contact Lenel S2 to purchase the Alta Video Integration License for your OnGuard System.
2. Install and activate your Alta Video Integration License on your OnGuard server.

   Refer to the OnGuard Installation Guide and Install your OnGuard Software License documents.

3. Create a non-system user on the OnGuard server, to be used by Alta Video.
4. Connect your access control systems to your Alta Video deployment. See Add OnGuard access control systems to Alta Video.
5. Connect your access control points to Alta Video. See Add access control points to Alta Video.
6. Configure Video view with your access control points. See Add access control points to Video view.
7. Configure Map view with your access control points. See Add access control points to Map view.
8. Configure Rules to notify you about access control point events. See Create Access Control rules.
9. Configure Rules to notify you about connection issues between OnGuard and Alta Video. See Create an access control connection rule.
