Claiming Alta Video License Pack

Alta Video utilizes licensing to control and manage connected devices. Licenses are essential for enabling specialized features, such as License Plate Recognition (LPR), Audio recording, and extensions of Alta Cloud Storage. You can view the types and quantities of licenses currently in-use, see Licenses.

To claim your Alta Video License pack, follow the steps below.

Prerequisites

  • A valid license key is required.

  • You must be an Administrator user for your deployment.

Claiming Alta Video License pack: 

  1. Log in to the Alta Video deployment.

  2. Click the System tab and click the Settings button.

  3. From the Left-hand menu pane, click Licenses.

  4. From the license overview page, choose the Licenses tab then click Add license pack

  5. Input the License pack key then click Next. If an invalid license ID or if a license has been claimed on another deployment, an error is displayed.

  6. In the next window, click Add, the page will revert to the Licenses menu and confirmation of the added license will be displayed.
