These Beta feature software versions have been extensively tested on the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, using the Chrome browser.
Reference | Issue |
---|---|
6537 | Issue: Avigilon Ava cloud-native cameras require NTP access to synchronize their internal clocks. Failure to access NTP could lead to recording being unreliable when the camera is power-cycled. |
6380 | Issue: On the Avigilon Ava cloud-native cameras, bookmarks are deleted by the regular storage maintenance. For example, on a camera with 30 day retention, any bookmarks from 31 days ago are deleted. Workaround: Regularly export any bookmarks, in .mp4 format, and store them locally. |
6242 | Issue: When attempting to view live or playback video recorded from Avigilon Ava cloud-native cameras, the playback sometimes stutters and does not progress smoothly. |

3779 | Issue: By design, Avigilon Ava cameras ship without default credentials. For versions of Alta Video prior to Alta Video 1.4, if you do not manually configure a username and password during the camera installation, you cannot add the Avigilon Ava camera to Alta Video. Workaround: Either ensure that Alta Video is at version 1.4 or later, or manually add a username and password to your Avigilon Ava camera and use these credentials when connecting to Alta Video. See Set Alta camera system settings locally |
2930 | Issue: When upgrading the software on your Avigilon Ava cameras, the Alta Video video management system reports a video error, rather than that the device is being upgraded. |
2910 | Issue: On occasion, Avigilon Ava cameras enter IR mode too early. |
2151 | Issue: If you manually change the IP address of your Dome camera, you are not given any warnings that this will break contact with the camera, and you are not redirected to the new address. Workaround: After changing the IP address of your camera, manually browse to the new IP address after the camera has rebooted. |
