Unified users in Alta Video, DMP, and Alta Access

As part of the unification of Avigilon Alta, we are changing the user management services of Alta Video, Alta DMP, and Alta Access.
- We are unifying user management within Alta Video, DMP, and Alta Access into one service.
- Users can use the same login credentials for all three applications.
- A signed-in user can switch between Alta Video, DMP, and Alta Access without re-authentication.
Avigilon Alta manually unifies existing Alta Video, Alta DMP, and Alta Access users as required. Customers do not need to take any action unless instructed by an Avigilon Alta Partner, Sales representative, or Avigilon Alta Support. This documentation provides an overview of unification and guides for processes changed by unification.
Unification and data residency
Alta Access uses two data centers, one in the US and one in the EU. To unify the user management services of Alta DMP, we will migrate user credentials from DMP to Alta Access. The data region of DMP organizations and Alta Video deployments affects how we combine them with Alta Access organizations.
