| Improved user experience when deleting camera recordings | We have improved the UI and clarified the behaviour when you choose to delete recordings either on a device or backed up to the cloud. See Delete or reset Alta cameras and Delete camera recordings, saved clips, and backups | 8.1.0 |
| Night vision settings for Compact Dome cameras | You can now change how Compact Dome cameras function in low light levels. See Night vision and infrared settings. | 8.1.0 |
| Cloud Connector network interface improvements | We have improved how Cloud Connectors manage their network interfaces. They are now referenced by MAC address in the UI, and you can set their usage priority. See Configure LACP for Cloud Connectors | 8.1.0 |

Known issues
During testing, we have found the following issues in these software packages:
| Reference | Issue | Software |
|---|---|---|
| AVA-16837 | When clicking the mic button for cameras with the Horn speaker associated, the drop down disappears and the mic is shown as active but no audio is available. | Alta Video |
| AVA-16832 | Data from Halo sensors is incorrect. | Alta Video |
| AVA-16200 | When viewing the device group, extra devices are being displayed. | Alta Video |
| AVA-16642 | Bonded Cloud Connector on Broadcom network interfaces plus Meraki Switch offline after software upgrade. | Alta Video |
| AVA-16367 | Alta Horn speaker can crash when using only PoE instead of PoE+. A workaround is to lower the volume level. | Alta Video |
| AVA-7075 | User groups reverting from users back to administrator after some time. | Alta Video |
| AVA-14848 | Exporting footage from maps fails locally and via download manager. A known workaround is to use another tool such as video wall to export the download. | Alta Video |
| AVA-13791 | Some icons or logos may display incorrectly with visible corner cut-offs or truncation. A known workaround is to import images with a larger border than normal to account for the automatic rounding of edges. | Alta Video and Alta camera |
| AVA-14048 | Live and recorded audio from Alta cameras is distorted by intermittent popping and clicking. | Alta Video and Alta camera |
| AVA-14314 | Audio from RTSP streams for some third-party cameras might not correctly play on a Cloud Connector. | Alta Video |

| AVA-14509 | If you delete but don't reset a PTZ camera with a running tour, the tour continues if the camera is added to another deployment. | Alta Video and Alta camera |
| AVA-14165 | The Cloud Connector Devices tool might show an incorrect total for the number of connected devices. | Alta Video |
| AVA-8006 | Image health alarms continue to trigger when image health is turned off in device settings. As a workaround to end the alarm, you can validate it as false and end the alarm. | Alta Video |

| AVA-12716 | The status of the Avigilon Alta A200 Cloud Connector is inaccurate after a reboot. | Alta Video |
