Cloud Connectors for Alta Video

When adding existing third-party cameras or cameras with no on-board storage or cloud-connectivity to your Alta Video deployments, use one or more Alta Video Cloud Connectors to provide the always-on analytics (for your third-party cameras) and the on-site storage required.
Depending on your requirements regarding the number of sites to protect, the number of cameras needed, and how long you need to store your recorded video, use one or more Cloud Connectors to provide the analytics, image processing and storage for your installation.
Alta Cloud Connector family
For integrations between Alta Video and some on-premise systems, for example for some third-party access control systems, a Cloud Connector might also be required to enable the communication between the on-premise components and Alta Video.
Each Alta Cloud Connector is delivered with the Alta Video software pre-installed.
Configurable for resilience
When running three Alta Cloud Connectors as a server group, you can configure them in high availability mode to provide continued service in the event of one Cloud Connector going offline.
A high availability group must contain exactly three Cloud Connectors, all attached to the same network, and sized appropriately that the camera workload and storage can be handled by any two of the three Cloud Connectors.
