Configure local displays

Configure your Alta Cloud Connector to display selected Video views using the display connectors on the motherboard.

You cannot run a local display from the A100, A1000, or A1100 Cloud Connectors.

The local display can only be viewed on a monitor that is physically connected to the Cloud Connector.

Prerequisites

  • Connect a suitable monitor to one of the monitor ports (DisplayPort, USB-C, VGA, or HDMI) on the motherboard of your selected Cloud Connector.

    You cannot use any of the monitor ports on any additional GPU cards that are fitted to your Cloud Connector.

  • Configure the Video view to be displayed, and ensure you have saved the view and have shared it with All users. See Create your Video views

Task — Configure your local displays

  1. Choose Tools Tools > System System.
  2. Select the Cloud Connector to use to display the Video view.
  3. Click Edit settings.
  4. From Details, select Live display Settings button icon.
  5. Select the required Video view to display.
  6. (Optional) To test if the live feeds from your selected cameras can be viewed from the local network, enable Offline mode.
  7. Click Done.
  8. Click Done.
