Avigilon Alta A3000 Cloud Connectors (Discontinued)

The Alta A3000 Cloud Connector has now been discontinued, and is being replaced with the Alta A3100 Cloud Connector.

The Alta A3000 Cloud Connector appliances are designed for the most challenging applications. With multiple CPU's and GPU's, and more memory, these appliances are designed for the most demanding installations. The Alta A3000 Cloud Connector is a rack-mounted 2U appliance.

Typical use for Alta A3000 Cloud Connector

Aimed at the larger site, or as a node within a very large Alta video security systems cluster deployment, the Alta A3000 Cloud Connector appliances provide the extra processing power and memory needed to run analytics from up to 200 camera sources. With video storage on up to 12 SATA hard disk drives (up to 160TB (net) storage) you have plenty of storage for your recorded video.

Alta Cloud Connector BIOS and iDRAC updates

Dell recommends that if the BIOS and iDRAC firmware versions on Alta A3000 Cloud Connectors are lower than BIOS v2.17.1 and iDRAC9 v6.10.30.20, the BIOS and iDRAC firmware is updated.

RMA and warranty policy on discontinued products

If a failure of an Alta A3000 Cloud Connector occurs while the product is under warranty and such failure is covered by the warranty, Avigilon will replace the failed unit with a replacement. Support policy

Avigilon will continue to support the Alta A3000 Cloud Connector until October 18, 2029 for software issues, or the expiration of the installed product's warranty as determined by the unit's service tag.
