About this release
(back to top)Installing this release will upgrade Alta Video video management systems, and, if needed to maintain feature compatibility, any Alta cameras associated with your deployment.

| Unique Alta Keys now identify Alta cameras | With the expansion of our camera portfolio to included Avigilon Alta H6SL, we now identify cameras with a unique Alta Key. We have updated Alta Video and Alta camera software to reflect this change. For all Avigilon Ava cameras, the Alta Key is the same as the serial number. Future Avigilon Ava cameras will be supplied with a clearly marked Alta Key. When Alta Video requires an Alta Key for an Avigilon Ava camera without a clearly marked Alta Key, use its serial number instead.
