Alta Video tools

You can access tools from the Dashboard or tool list:
- To open the Dashboard, click the Alta Video or partner logo in the tool bar.
- To access the tool list, click
in the tool bar. - See Alta Video web app overview.
The tools you can see and access are determined by your user role permissions.
Available tools
- Video view: Organize and monitor camera feeds using AI-powered activity insights and detailed playback timelines.
- Devices: Add, remove, configure, and manage cameras and other devices.
- Rules: Create and manage alert rules based on camera detections and system events.
- Alarms: View and manage alarms triggered by rules and system events.
- Clips: View and manage bookmarks and external links to find clips easily later.
- Maps: Upload maps and add position devices to gain visual insights into site activity.
- Search: Search by event types, descriptions, or images using AI-powered video analytics.
- Events: View and manage security events, anomalies, and access control events.
- Users: Add and remove users, edit user settings, and manage roles and permissions by user groups.
- Counts: Create, manage, and monitor areas that count line-crossing events or objects in view.
- System: Manage your deployment settings and add Cloud Connectors.
